After a consultation phase within the Steering Groups of the 12 Priority Areas, the National Coordinators decided on the next steps. After a presentation of the state of play by the Danube Strategy Point, the participants discussed challenges and needs for the future cooperation within Priority Area 10 “Institutional Capacity and Cooperation”.

The members of the Danube Local Actors Platform also called for a stronger establishment of participatory methods in decision-making processes accompanied by trust building activities. Against this background, the participants named National Participation Days as well as the Danube Participation Day as proved format to support this endeavour. Furthermore, there was a clear demand to better coordination between EU Funding.
The results of the discussion will be compiled and presented to the Steering Group of Priority Area 10 “Institutional Capacity and Cooperation”.
