The 6th Danube Participation Day takes place inBucharest (RO) on 26 June 2019, back to back with the 8th EUSDR Annual Forum. This year’s theme is Youth – Participation – Empowerment and addresses challenges and opportunities for rejuvenation of the Danube Strategy in light of the on-going revision of the EUSDR Action Plan.
On 26th June at the 6th DPD we would like to:
a) look at the general situation of youth in the Danube region in terms of inclusion, participation
b) present a number of good practices of project and processes involving youth, and
c) take care that youth is able to present itself, its views and challenges.
The Danube Participation Day offers a Danube wide platform to discuss thematic and structural deficits and possible solutions for participation and cooperation in the Danube Region and explores opportunities for young people to make a change towards high quality of life.
Take part and discuss with us, how we can improve quality of life and create a sustainable perspective for people in the Danube Region today and following generations!
The results of the discussion will be presented at the 8th EUSDR Annual Forum and will mark the start to develop an Action Plan for youth participation in the Danube Region.
