On 12 April 2022, the b-solutions initiative launched a call for proposals. The initiative is looking for legal or administrative obstacles in cross-border cooperation. Against this background, b-solution invites public authorities or entities that manage cross-border cooperation to submit their experienced challenges in cross-border cooperation. The selected beneficiaries receive technical support from cross-border experts to define the obstacles and elaborate potential solutions to overcome them.
The call is open for public entities and cross-border structures, located along EU internal land and maritime borders as well as along EU borders with EFTA and IPA countries.
Call guidelines and the application form can be accessed here: Call for Proposals | b-solutionsproject
Finally, the call will stay open until 21 October 2022, whereby cases will be selected also in May and July 2022.
Information Session
On Wednesday, 4 May 2022, b-solutions hosts an information session on the new call for proposals. The session takes place from 2 to 3 pm CEST.

About b-solutions 2.0
The European Commission’s Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy (DG REGIO) and AEBR launched the b-solution initiative to tackle legal and administrative obstacles hindering cross-border cooperation along EU borders. Between 2018 and 2021, the initiative analysed 90 cross-border obstacles and developed solutions to resolve them.
b-solutions 2.0 is the extension of this successful initiative, aiming at supporting smooth cross-border cooperation.
