The Danube Youth Network, stemming from the “Danube Youth Participation 2019-2021” and “Danube Youth EUSDR Participation” initiatives, is a collaborative effort by the EUSDR Civil Society Network and five partnering NGOs in Baden-Württemberg, Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania, and Serbia. Spearheaded by the Liebenau Foundation, this flagship initiative aims to form a transnational, trans-sectorial youth network in the Danube Region, emphasizing participation, creativity, and responsibility.
The network’s primary goal is to empower young individuals by enhancing their skills for active participation and co-creation. Through a self-organised structure, it provides an open space for youth to address and solve community issues collaboratively. The geographic diversity of partnering NGOs ensures inclusivity, considering the unique perspectives and aspirations of youth across the region.
The Danube Youth Network is more than an initiative, it’s a movement shaping a future where the voices of youth resonate across borders, fostering a vibrant and interconnected community in the heart of Europe.
