Last year the 11th Danube Participation Day took place in Vienna and focused on creating change for successful EU enlargement. This year´s 12th Danube Participation Day – Local Voices, European Future will take place on 4 November in Sarajevo and will tackle the crucial role of communities in shaping EU policy and driving enlargement. Organised as an official side event of the 14th Annual Forum of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region, this year´s conference will highlight how local actors can actively contribute to a more inclusive sustainable EU accession process.
Together we will exchange experiences, showecase innovative practices and design strategies to strengthen community engagement within European integration. Participants can look forwad to a comprehensive programme including inspiring panal debates, the Danube Participation Day agora as well as interactive Worl Café sessions. The World Café sessions will give room to all participants to contribute to all the following topics:
Civil Society: Capacity to Connect: Strengthening Civil Society for Policy Translation and Transformation
