NATIONAL HEARINGS IN AUSTRIA AND THE REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA
The first National Hearing took place in Tulln, Austria on the 9th of September 2016. In the University and Research Centre of the BOKU (University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences) representatives from civil society and public administration had the opportunity to discuss about “New chances for innovative cooperation in the Danube region.“ The 2nd Austrian EUSDR dialogue forum (national hearing) was organized by Land Niederösterreich together with the Federal Chancellery and the Federal Ministry of Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs as National Coordinators and Priority Area Coordination 10.

The second Hearing was hold in Chișinău, the Republic of Moldova on the 22nd of September 2016.The core of the event was to organize a platform for discussions between representatives of civil society, academia, business and public administration to discuss programs and financial opportunities for the countries of the Danube Region. The event was attended by representatives of several institutions in the country and organizations from Austria, Germany and Ukraine. It was organized by the Ministry of Regional Development and Construction, as the National Coordinator of SUERD and the NGO BIOS in coordination with the Civil Society Forum for the Danube Region and PAC 10.
