BETTER SPENDING IN THE DANUBE REGION

The Commission provides support to Member States in order to help them make the best possible use of the Cohesion Policy funding, and to address problems with implementation. This support has been reinforced for the 2014-2020 funding period through the following instruments, which mainly concern the EU Member States in the Danube Region:

  • Exchanges of regional experts (TAIEX peer-to-peer)
  • Integrity Pacts
  • Task Force on Implementation
  • Training of experts on rules and regulations
  • Guidance on public procurement
