The AEBR (Association of European Border Region) has launched a call for proposals as part of the b-solutions 2.0 initiative. This initiative aims to tackle legal and administrative obstacles hindering cross-border cooperation, with the goal of identifying and resolving cases across thematic areas.
The primary goal is to pinpoint 120 cases of legal or administrative obstacles impeding cooperation across national borders.
Eligibile entities are public bodies at national, regional, or local levels, cross-border entities, and bodies governed by public law are eligible. Applicants must be located in an EU Member State, neighboring EFTA or IPA countries, sharing at least one land or maritime border with another EU Member State.
Selected cases receive technical assistance from legal experts specializing in various thematic areas, facilitating institutional cooperation, public services, labor markets, education, and the European Green Deal.
Experts analyze selected cases within a maximum of nine days over three months following the case-expert matching. Cases are selected and matched with experts within a few weeks.Through systematic analysis and swift action, the b-solutions 2.0 initiative is breaking down barriers and fostering cross-border collaboration, paving the way for seamless cooperation across borders.
The b-solutions 2.0 call for proposals is open until resources are available.
