The Central European Initiative (CEI) has announced the Call for Proposals 2025 in the framework of the CEI Cooperation Fund, with funding made available to all CEI Member States (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Coratia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia and Ukraine.
Established in 2001, the CEI Cooperation Fund co-finances activities aimed at strengthening cooperation among the CEI Member States and implementing the strategic goals and main objectives set by the CEI Guidelines and Rules of Procedure and the CEI Plan of Action.
The overall indicative budget of this Call for Proposals is 442,000 EUR (four hundred forty-two thousand Euro) and is subdivided as follows:
- CEI Thematic Agenda: Up to 252,000 EUR (two hundred fifty-two thousand Euro). An additional amount of up to 90,000 EUR (ninety thousand Euro) will be made available for co-financing proposals – within the ones submitted under this segment – that meet, over the evaluation phases, with the requirements set for CEI Flagship Events (Section 5.4. of the Call for Proposals).
- Focused Section: Up to 100,000 EUR (one hundred thousand Euro)
Eligible applicants: public and private entities based and registered in CEI Member States (public/public equivalent bodies, private entities, NGOs/CSOs). International Organisations can also apply. Individuals cannot apply.
Deadline for submission: Monday, 9 June 2025, 11:59 p.m. (midnight) CEST
