The EEA Grants and Norway Grants represent the contributions of Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway to reducing social and economic disparities in the European Economic Area (EEA) and strengthening bilateral relations with 15 EU countries in Central and Southern Europe. Recently, the EEA and Norway Grants published a number of open calls in the Danube Region.
Generally, the Grants support the beneficiary countries in the following areas:
- innovation, research, education, competitiveness;
- youth employment;
- regional cooperation;
- environment, energy, climate change, low carbon economy;
- social inclusion, youth emoployment, poverty reduction;
- justice and home affairs; and
- culture, civil society, good governance, and fundamental rights
EUSDR Priority Area 10 “Institutional Capacities and Cooperation” uses the opportunity to inform about some open calls in the Danube Region for civil society and local actors supporting actions of EUSDR Priority Area 10.
