Join us for the first cross-macroregional event on smart rural development in Sofia (BG) on 24 March 2026.
Under the motto ”Bridging Vision and Action: Smart Rural Development That Leaves No Region Behind” we want to
- discuss with you the future of (smart) rural development,
- demonstrate good practices of evidence-based decision-making, and
- share and test approaches for smart rural development.
The event is organised by representatives from all 4 macro-regional strategies and the Horizon project SMART ERA and will address what it takes to support successful and smart rural development and how we can bring our vision into concrete action.
