GENERAL AFFAIRS COUNCIL CONCLUSIONS RELATED TO COHESION POLICY, 17-18 NOVEMBER 2015

 

The General Affairs Council of the EU met on 17-18 November 2015 and adopted the following conclusions related to the Cohesion Policy:

  • Council Conclusion 13507/15 25 years of Interreg: Its contribution to Cohesion Policy goals, stressing on the role that Interreg can play in supporting the successful delivery of existing and future EU Macro-regional Strategies as well as highlighting the institutional added value of the programme in terms of developing a culture of cooperation.
  • Council Conclusion 13703/15 setting out the priorities and expectations of member states regarding the simplification of the European structural and investment funds, which is a permanent challenge for beneficiaries and all bodies involved in programme management and control.
