SERBIA: PAC 10 PUCHINGER RECEIVES AWARD FOR CONTRIBUTION TO THE EUSDR
Kurt Puchinger, the Coordinator of Priority Area “Institutional Capacity and Cooperation” of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR) on behalf of the City of Vienna, has received the price “Danube Flower”, which is awarded every year by the Central Development Forum (CEDEF). The price was handed over by Michael Davenport, head of the EU delegation to Serbia. Puchinger received it for his merit for project implementation related to the EUSDR. The price was awarded in the framework of the third Danube Business Forum, which took place on 27-29 October 2014 in Novi Sad and Belgrade.
In his speech, Puchinger highlighted the efforts of the City of Vienna to implement the EUSDR. He gave a brief overview of the successes and positive experiences of the EUSDR, as well as the challenges for the upcoming years.
