The 12th EUSDR Annual Forum, a collaborative effort between the Republic of Slovenia, the European Commission, and the Danube Region Programme, bolstered by the support of the Danube Strategy Point, is set to take place in Brdo pri Kranju, Slovenia, on October 24-25, 2023.
This live event will serve as a gathering point for esteemed representatives from the European Union, national governments, regional and local authorities, and various stakeholders. Together, they will engage in thoughtful discussions to assess the progress of the European Union Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR) and help chart its course for the future.
Under the theme “EUSDR Entering the Decade of the Future,” the forum will delve into several critical areas, including EU enlargement efforts and support for accession countries. Moreover, it will focus on the recovery initiatives concerning Ukraine, the integration process, and the pressing energy and transport challenges facing the Danube Region. Additionally, the event will spotlight the active involvement of youth in shaping the EUSDR and explore the professions that will shape the future of the region.
This annual forum promises to be a pivotal moment for stakeholders to exchange ideas, share insights, and collectively pave the way for a promising future for the Danube Region.
