Are you a young citizen between the ages of 24 and 35, eager to shape the future of Europe? Brace yourself for an inspiring evening at the SQUARE Convention Centre in Brussels on October 10th, 2023. The European Commission´s Directorate General for Regional and Urban Policy (DG REGIO) is calling upon you to participate in the EURegionsWeek Citizen´s Dialogue on combating brain drain and unleashing regional talent.
The Brain Drain Challenge
The Citizens´ Dialogue is a beacon of hope in this landscape of challenges. On October 10th, the Gold Hall of the SQUARE Brussels Convention Centre will come alive with engaging discussions. The Focus? Finding innovative ways to counter brain drain and reinvigorate regional dynamism.
Language won´t be a barrier. While the primary language is English, interpretation services will ensure that voices resonate in French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese. The dialogue will not be confined to the venue either; it will be live-streamed, reaching a wider audience.
How You Can Make a Difference
Are you ready to play a pivotal role in shaping Europe´s destiny? If you´re an EU Member State citizen or from an eligible neighbouring country*, seize this opportunity to be heard.
Apply by August 28th, noon, by completing the application form.
NOTE: DG REGIO will organise the travel of selected participants and accommodation for one night in Brussels.
Overall, the Citizens´ Dialogue isn´t just an event; it´s a platform for change. So join us in sculpting a future where brain drain is history, and regions flourish with untapped talent. Mark your calendar, spread the word, and be part of the movement to reverse brain drain and bring forth a new era of opportunity in Europe.
