The Danube Transnational Programme (DTP) will soon launch a new call for project proposals. In January 2022, the programme plans to open a call for proposals addressing institutional capacity building in Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova. In doing so, the call aims at developing and implementing transnational projects in the thematic fields of the Danube Programme 2021-2027 through enhanced cooperation of relevant stakeholders at national, regional and local levels.

The Danube Transnational Programme dedicates 6 million EUR of funding to projects that address the following activities:

  • Set up policy dialogue in thematic fields which represent a major challenge for the region as defined in the Danube Programme 2021-2027.
  • Support capacity building for the Ukraine and Moldova national/ regional/ local public authorities.

Thereby, the maximum ERDF budget is roughly EUR 1.4 million. For each project a maximum of EUR 230.000 ERDF funds can be claimed. ENI budget is maximum EUR 2.33 million for the Republic of Moldova and EUR 2.48 million for Ukraine. Both state and non-state actors, can apply in this call.

Furthermore, the project partnerships shall be composed of two project partners at minimum, with at least one partner from Moldova or Ukraine.

Finally, the programme will announce further details about the organisation of online information seminars and consultations with potential applicants on the programme website in January after the official launch of the callfor project proposals.
