Do you face a challenge in your town, neighbourhood or local community?
Do you have some ideas how they could be solved?
Are you between 15 and 25 years of age?
If your answers to all these questions is yes, we would like to encourage you to apply for the “Shoot by Youth” short video competition.
All you have to do is make a short video that portrays the challenges that you are dealing with and your possible solution and send your video until the 4th of July to the “Shoot by Youth” team.
The Competition
The “Shoot by Youth” competition calls for teams of 3 to 5 young participants between 15 and 25 years of age, who live in one of the countries in the Danube Region*. The short video should be minimum 3 minutes, but not longer than 5 minutes.
Regarding the content, the video needs to address a local challenge that you are facing. There are no limits in terms of the thematic area. You can address challenges in the field of social inclusion, education, environment, mobility, youth involvement, business etc. In addition, we would like you to present a possible solution to this challenge.
If you have produced your video, please upload it to the “Shoot by Youth” platform and fill in the application form by 4th of July 2021.
The Selection
After the application procedure has finished, a jury will look at the videos. Thereby, the jury members will assess the quality of the video, how well the challenge is presented, the feasibility of proposed the solution of the micro-project, and the creativity of the solution.
The winner will be announced in August. The winning team will receive a micro grant of EUR 500 to realise their idea. Additionally, the team will receive an additional EUR 500 for their own disposal, and finally the finalists will be invited to youth events in the Danube Region.
