Join the b-solutions info session on 30 November

November 21, 2022in 2022 0 Likes

The b-solutions 2.0 initiative provides technical assistance from legal experts on obstacles in cross-border services and administration.

Are you working for a city, municipality or region in a border area? Are you trying to provide equal access to health care services for all citizens living in a border region? Do you face difficulties when exercising first responder missions across the border? Do you find different legal procedures and requirements a major obstacle for a cross-border labour market or education across borders?

Citizens from cities and municipalities in border areas often face problems when dealing with public administrations or trying access public services across borders. Despite civil servants and public administration managers are aware of the challenges and the negative impacts, it seems as if there are no easy solutions for the problem. However, b-solutions 2.0 works with a team of legal experts that work on legal and administrative solutions to resolve or work around the obstacles.

The b-solutions 2.0 framework launched a new call. Interested stakeholders apply for technical assistance by describing the cross-border obstacle they want to resolve. The b-solutions team reviews applications on a rolling basis with immediate implementation. The next deadline for submission is the 28 February 2022.

How can b-solutions help? Who is it for?

The objective of this call for proposals is to identify further cases of legal or administrative obstacles which hinder cooperation across land and maritime borders between EU countries, EU-IPA countries and EU-EFTA countries.

Public bodies (cities, regions, hospitals, health agencies, …) or cross-border structures such as Euroregions and EGTCs are invited to submit cases of cross-border obstacles.

Selected cases receive technical assistance from legal experts: after a deep analysis, the expert suggests potential solutions to overcome the obstacle. Participation also helps raise awareness on cross-border cooperation and design better policies for European integration.

Where do I find the information and documents for the application? How can I get a consultation?

All relevant information and the link to apply is accessible at: https://www.b-solutionsproject.com/call-for-proposals.
