The Danube Region Programme announced that the Seed Money Facility (SMF) call for proposals is open from 27th November 2023 until 29th March 2024.
The call aims to provide financial support for the development of strategic projects aligned with the EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR). The SMF serves as a pivotal tool for jumpstarting the development of strategic projects that contribute to the objectives of the EUSDR.
Thus, by providing initial funding, the SMF enables applicants to delve into the analysis of needs and challenges, prepare work plans, establish partnerships, and explore potential funding instruments for their main projects. This critical development phase is the foundation for subsequent applications for funding through other financial instruments.
Guidance and Assistance Throughout the Journey
Throughout the project development process, the Danube Region Programme (DRP) and the EUSDR Priority Area Coordinators (PACs) are committed to providing essential support tools and events. These resources, including individual consultations and thematic seminars, are designed to streamline the creation of project proposals and aid applicants in navigating the development process effectively.
